Thread: fast cars, danger, fire, and knives

Stan watched from the passenger seat. Te depravity of the Sabbot still astounded him as they moved deeper into the now deplorable state of the city. His mind laied images of the city from the past over what was their now. He silently wounded what would become of the city even if they were able to take it back.

Amy holds the door in a death grip as she stares wide-eyed out the window as they drive. She doesn't glance away from the wreckage, not even for a second.

"...It's like being back home," she says in a flat, quiet voice.

" they will regret their actions." kendov turns onto a main road starting to finally cut into the citys depths

Stans nods along with both Amy and Kendov. He closes his eyes for a second, centering himself before they enter into the heart of the city ((ooc: spend a mental trait to activate Eyes of Chaos)). He looks back to Amy.

"I'm Stan by they way. I don't think we have meet before."

He gives her a quick node before turning back to the front and watching intently out the front window, his eyes flickering quickly from object to object ((ooc: Activation Hightened Sences Sight and looking for Obfuscated individuals).

When Stan introduces himself, she turns her head to look him up and down. Red irises make her eyes appear dilated in this light, like a scared animal.

"I'm Amy," she says, and offers him a weak smile. Tensely, she looks back out the side window, her gaze lifting to the top stories of the buildings as they approach.

To no one in particular, she wonders to herself, "You think some of them could be watching us right now?"

" if they are not they are ignorant. this is a forward training camp to them. the rampant violence is not for just amusement. remember our lesson in fortitude? the last few moments where quick but i would bet you remember them more than most of it "

Stan spots no obfuscated beings as he glances around the scene.

There are a mess of bodies in the street, some covered over as a pair of beleaguered and overworked EMTs try desperately to resuscitate a man who looks like he's been shot mid-chest. The older EMT holding a respirator to the victim begins to shake his head and the younger one doing compressions slows his rate. The stink of gunpowder and blood becomes overwhelmingly strong the closer the car gets to this side street.

kendov drums his fingers on the steering wheel slowly mindfull of the side streets. " well it seems quiet over here. stop and see if we cant get any information from the mortals over there?"

Amy nods absently, remembering the lesson well. "Yeah... I was flying like a bird, then I fell out of the sky, and I was dead.. but like in dreams, you don't ever really die.."

She stares quietly at the scene as they pull up, trying to focus on the EMTs rather than all of the dead bodies strewn about.
