Thread: fast cars, danger, fire, and knives

Stan shakes his head a little as they pull up.

"These guys are just the first responders to the shooting, police haven't been here yet. Apparently the hospitals as packed already and most of those on the ground are dead or going to be dead cause they can't get treatment."

He looks to Kendov.

"I don't think their is much we can learn here. Cops are hard pressed, hospitals overflowing and the young guy there is about to snap. I'll leave it up to you though, if you go ask questions I'll dig the truth out of his head."

" no the less time we are at the scene the less time we will be noticed. i think they are trying to bait out our sect. if we stop they will surely know we are here. " kendov rolls to a stop near a newspaper stand motioning to it "that would give us something to go by we can get where the fightings been from the police logs they put in those right ?"

Amy seems relieved that they're not stopping at the scene, and pipes up when Kendov mentions the newspaper, her voice more confident. "It'd have police logs.. but it could be outdated. Better than no information, though."

Somewhere nearby, gunshots rattle off incessantly. It sounds like automatic weapons fire (those of you with at least 1 firearms will note that it sounds like an assault rifle.).

Police sirens fade into your earshot but quickly diminish as the patrol cars head somewhere further away.

The newspaper headlines reads- "A City Divided" in bold lettering, with a picture of shell casings on the ground. Underneath, it goes on to quickly explain that the recent racially motivated murder of Abraham Faulkner - a prominent city councilman that fought for civil rights and fair housing practices.

" well now we understand their control methods. " kendov shakes his head getting out and grabbing a paper before moving quickly back to the driver seat and takes off as the light turns green. he hands the paper to amy to look through. " go ahead amy, tell us anything you find that may relate. if you could as well stan?"

Stan nods to Kendov and takes any peice of paper given to him. He fold the paper and sets it in his lap, pulls out his phone and plug "KC Hospitals" in google maps. He continues to watch the streets, any people who are out and any activity he can see. Absently he talks as they continue down the street, not directing the words at anyone.

"They are going to be collecting blood, both for the figt and rituals to come this time of year. Their has to be strongholds of the camarilla left here, the tremere, Gios and surly the prince and court are hunkered down somewhere. I don't know about any Setites in town but surly they would have a temple here somewere. Their should be some way that they are comunicating, could be the old lines under the city, possibly the shippers telegraph down near the docks...."

His ramblings continue and seem disjointed as if trying to remember items of note from past visits to the city.

kendov turns on the radio searching for a news station and continues looking for more broadcasts about what might be going on.

"so we need to go underground?

Stan sits their for a moment as if listening to something.

"I think if you are wanting to find the Sabbot we need to start digging. Just going the way we are now, I think we are looking for trouble and it will find us."

He shakes his head for a moment.

"Also it looks like Eamon is having some issues with his group, quess they took more than one vehicle and people are stoping to ask questions."
